Paquito de Habana

Regular price $15.00
Sax Quartet | SATB / AATB | Medium-Advanced | Item SQ1003

Take your audience on a trip to Brazil with this original Samba written in tribute to  Cuban jazz legend Paquito D'Rivera. Like much of D'Rivera's music, "Paquito de Habana" has a catchy tune and a refreshing feel-good vibe for your saxophone quartet.

Optional ad-lib solos for your Alto and Bari players are included, with optional notated solos for non-improvisers.

"Paquito" was composed to be programmed either as a stand-alone piece or in suite with its two sister works, "whatever Stan wants" and "Mancini digs that mambo".
