"Plumber" is a veritable plunger fest for your trombone section. It's a swingin' minor-bluesy chart with a bass line reminiscent of "Hit the Road Jack". The icing on the cake is the wailing shout chorus a la Jay & Kai + 6.

This chart is scored to work well with 4 or 5 trombones (+ rhythm section). The range demands are modest.

"Plumber" was commissioned by the fantastic Continental Trombone Quartet and recorded on their self-titled CD, featuring soloist Jim Pugh.
